WARNING - SPOILERS!
Synopsis - Col. Tavington has to deal with these annoying American patriots who keep testing his patience. Ok, that's not really accurate, but what-the-hell. Jason steals the show whenever he's on screen.
Released - 2000
Character - Colonel William Tavington
Accent - English (Received Pronunciation with slight Sloaney tendancies)
Good guy or bad boy? - Oh, very bad.
Bastard rating - 15 (on a scale of 1-10)
Blood & Bullets - Yep, lots of blood. Swords, guns. Head blown off by a canonball. Women, children and the elderly burned inside a locked church. Child shot in the back in front of his entire family. Ick. Rated R.
Costumes - Extraordinary costumes. Dragoon uniform is very hot. Even like the poofy hat. Nice black pants and gorgeous riding boots. White ruffly shirt. Excuse me for a moment . . .
Pinky Ring? - No
Hair - Long, dark hair, tied back for most of the film, loose some of the time - crikey! This is my favorite hair by far.
Other cast - Were there other people in this movie? Oh yeah, Mel Gibson and Heath Ledger, Chris Cooper, Tom Wilkinson (all excellent).
Squidge factor - Off the freakin' scale - ok, a 15 on a scale of one to 10. Must have been the shaving scene . . .
Death - Ummm, yeah. But he deserved it, bastard. And he makes it very close to the end of the movie at least.
Favorite Quotes - "It's an ugly business doing ones' duty, but just occasionally, it's a real pleasure." <blink, blink> * "This is madness!" * "We're not going to hold him. We're going to hang him." * "The honor is found in the end, not the means."
DVD - Yes. DVD special edition (with deleted scenes). This is a must have. Especially the deleted scenes (more ruffled shirt and long hair)!
