Taggart
WARNING - SPOILERS!
Synopsis - Detective
series - Scotland. The 'Evil Twin' episode (doesn't every series have one?)
Released - Three-part
episode - first aired - Jan. 30 to Feb. 13, 1992 - Episode -
"Double Exposure"
Character - Eric
and John Barr (yep, twins - but we won't even go there)
Accent - Scottish
(Ayrshire or Glaswegian)
Good guy or bad boy? - Yes.
Evil Eric and nice guy, John
Bastard rating -
Eric - 10 (for killing John), and John - 1 (for being so freakin' gullible)
Blood & Bullets - Yes,
a bit of blood. A couple of murders.
Costumes - Eric
- suits with crisp white shirts, John - comfy, sloppy clothes (t-shirts, jeans,
shorts) - a backpackin' kinda guy
Pinky Ring?
- No, and no.
Hair - very short, weird
cut
Other cast - Mark
McManus (Taggart) - Without a doubt, the most boring main character I've ever
seen in a TV series
Squidge factor - Talk
about fantasy-inducing - bloody twins! <And I said I wasn't going to go
there - phbppppt> Two Jasons on screen is a huge treat. Eric is a bastard.
John is a cutie who cooks Thai food from scratch, enjoys good scenery, quotes
poetry and whistles with his fingers in his mouth. <Yes, this one,
please> A few seconds of shower time for John. His face only. What the heck
were you people thinking! You couldn't have given us a bit of shoulders and
back?! - Sheesh. Still it's a nice shot. (7 out of 10 for Eric, 9 out of 10 for
John)
Death - Yes and yes (there
goes the Thai food)
Favorites Quotes
- <John> "Hi, Diane?" (ok, so sue me - I liked hearing him say
my name), and <John kinda quoting Shelley> "See the mountains kiss
high heaven. And the sunlight kiss the sea. What is all this sweet work worth,
if thou kiss not me." <squidge>
Video/DVD
- Again,
try to get a hold of this, or talk someone into letting you borrow theirs
<g>
